My name is Darren McGee. I am extremely proud to say I started my journey of recovery in 2008. I then decided on a career in the Substance Use Disorder field in 2014 and earned my SUD credential in 2016. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Services. My compassion for the struggling alcoholic or substance use dependent person is of the highest level. I can connect with clients and make them feel comfortable in a safe therapeutic environment. I get great satisfaction from helping people share their experiences in an effort to gain control over their lives. Being able to help someone recover from addiction is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.
