Ken Wilson has served as Chief Executive Officer of West Sound Treatment Center since May of 2018, and has worked in the field of Substance Use Disorders for sixteen years. As a father and grandfather, he entered the field with the desire to help families like the one he was raised in. “Growing up, addiction and abuse were extreme in my family, and I wished, many times, someone would rescue me or at least help me. I have passion for the people we serve, and do so with a compassionate spirit.” Ken holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University with additional Masters work at Mid-American University, and has a Chemical Dependency Professional certification as well as a Mental Health Counseling Associate License with the State of Washington. Ken is also Recognized by the NAADAC as a Master Addiction Counselor.
