West Sound Treatment Center is often able to dispense free Naloxone at our office locations, depending on availability. When we have it available, we provide it to anyone who needs it with no questions asked.
Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. If you are not sure what drugs the person took, it is safe to administer Naloxone. While it only works on opioid overdoses, if someone has overdosed on methamphetamines, alcohol or other substances, Naloxone will not harm them.
We understand that anonymity may be important. We do not collect information or report data from those who come to us for Naloxone.
Stopoverdose.org is an organization in Washington State that provides more in-depth information about naloxone, including other ways to obtain it.
